For a police chief of the Kane County Forest Preserve District, a drunk driving incident left him with a lot more than a fine and record—it left him unemployed. The 66-year-old was found to have a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .23, much higher than the legal limit of .08%. The city of Chicago has a ban on handguns. The city of Washington D.C. had a similar ban until the U.S. Supreme Court called that law unconstitutional. Now the case McDonald v. City of Chicago will take the issue before the Court of the Land once again–this time deciding if their D.C. ruling applies to states and cities as well. read more
